1. Who we are and what this covers
DawnDigitals is the personal information controller for information collected through this public website, including its inquiry forms and digital calling card, and for inquiries sent to our business contact channels.
This policy is based on the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. Separate business applications and client projects may have their own privacy notices covering their specific processing.
2. Information we collect
- Inquiry details: your name, business name, email address, selected service, estimated budget and project description. These are required to submit the website form. Your phone number is optional; your selected budget currency is also included.
- Direct correspondence: the contact details, message content and any materials you choose to share by email, phone or our business social channels.
- Technical and security information: your IP address, browser and device signals, request origin and security-check results, processed by our hosting and spam-protection services. Cloudflare supplies an approximate country to suggest a budget currency; you can change the suggestion.
- Submission and delivery records: a submission reference, timestamps, delivery status and email delivery identifiers used to receive your inquiry reliably and handle retries.
Please share only what we need to understand your project. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, health information or other sensitive or confidential information. Share another person’s details only when you are authorized to do so.
You can browse without submitting an inquiry. Without the required contact and project details, we cannot process a website inquiry. Saving our business vCard downloads our contact information; it does not upload your address book or give us access to your contacts.
3. Why we use your information
We use inquiry information to understand your request, contact you, discuss suitable services and prepare a proposal. Processing necessary to take steps toward a service agreement at your request is based on Section 12(b) of the Act.
Website operation, spam prevention and reliable inquiry delivery serve our legitimate interests under Section 12(f), subject to your rights and freedoms. If a legal obligation requires processing, Section 12(c) applies. Where a separate activity requires consent, we will request it for that purpose; you may withdraw it.
Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails. The website uses automated spam checks and delivery retries, but does not use your inquiry to make automated decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.
5. How long we keep information
- Delivered website inquiries: automatically deleted from the inquiry database once they are more than 90 days old, measured from submission.
- Email delivery event records: automatically deleted from the inquiry database more than 90 days after receipt.
- Unresolved delivery: inquiries are retained for manual recovery until resolved, then deleted according to the same 90-day policy.
- Spam-rate records: the website stores a temporary keyed identifier derived from an IP address, rather than the raw address, for rate limiting. Scheduled cleanup removes these records after approximately one hour.
The database cleanup does not delete copies already received in our business email inbox. For inquiry emails that do not lead to a project, our retention period is 90 days after the last substantive exchange. We review the inbox monthly and manually delete messages whose retention period has expired, so removal may occur at the next monthly review.
Records needed for active projects, unresolved issues, applicable legal obligations or legal claims are retained separately for those purposes and deleted when no longer necessary. Correspondence on other platforms is reviewed on the same basis, subject to the platform’s own retention practices. You can contact us to ask about retention or request deletion of your information.
6. How we protect information
We use HTTPS, server-side input validation, spam verification, rate limiting and authenticated email-delivery updates to protect the inquiry flow. Access to inquiry records and the notification inbox is limited to authorized people. Application diagnostics use references and error codes rather than inquiry content or raw visitor IP addresses.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach requires notification under Philippine law, we will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected people as required.
8. Your privacy rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in Philippine law, you have the right to:
- Be informed about the processing of your personal information.
- Access your information and request correction of inaccuracies.
- Object to processing and withdraw consent where consent is the basis.
- Request blocking, removal or destruction when legally justified.
- Obtain a portable electronic copy where applicable.
- Seek compensation for damages from unlawful processing and lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
Contact us using the details below and describe your request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity and protect against unauthorized disclosure. Where information must be retained or processing must continue under law, we will explain the reason.
9. Privacy questions and complaints
For privacy questions or requests, contact DawnDigitals at [email protected] or +63 952 390 3782. Use the subject “Privacy request” and include enough information for us to locate the relevant inquiry. Please do not send identity documents unless we request a suitable verification method.
You may also raise a concern with the Philippine National Privacy Commission. Its official complaint guidance explains the current filing procedure.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its revision date when our practices change. Where required, we will notify affected people before a material change in processing and obtain any necessary consent for a new purpose.
